My 3 Cents on Cancer
15-year old Jack Andraka invents new method for diagnosing pancreatic, ovarian and lung cancer which is 168 times faster, 26000 times cheaper and 400% more reliable than common methods. His method takes five minutes to run and costs as little as 3 cents. He did most of his research Googling and via Wikipedia. Jack conducted his research at John Hopkins University. As Jack puts it the reason he started this research was his uncles death caused by pancreatic cancer. He has been selected as the Intel 2012 ISEF winner and has won awards at multiple national and international math competitions.
